Divergence of Styles

Differences in the work of Rossetti on one hand and Hunt and Millais on the other, were soon apparent. Hunt and Millais moved towards a greater naturalism while Rossetti's subjects became increasingly imaginative, inspired by literature and his belief that woman enshrines the mystery of existence.
